Publications and Council Plans

A key element in the restoration of the upper Sacramento River has been, and still is, public education. Continuing the flow of information to the public and resource user groups regarding recovery of the ecosystem and the activities of the CTC is important. The CTC has a moral obligation to share information that has been learned about natural resource injury, recovery, restoration, monitoring, and management. Annual reports discuss recovery status, Council activities, and contain a financial summary for the year. Newsletters report recent items of interest. Brochures provide further public information.

Council publications are available at: 2440 Athens Avenue, Redding, CA 96001. Telephone: 225-2044. FAX: 225-2267.

The Council has developed a number of plans to guide its decision making and implement strategies. These include the following: a Strategic Plan, a Resource Protection Plan, an Aquatic Plan, a Water Quality Plan, a Public Relations Plan, and an Expenditure Plan.
